So sorry to hear of the passing of Crystal. She was an absolute lady, who even when busy made time for anyone that needed it. She was a great listener and always made you feel better about a situation. I can't imagine the grief and devastation her family are feeling now.

I knew Crystal well and would see her regularly at school where we shared many chats and laughs over the past 9 years. She had great patience for the many demands her job through at her, always so professional. She loved you all deeply and spoke, about you whenever she could, I hope that gives you comfort. She was indeed a Guardian of our children, knowing them all by name and helping them in any way she could always with such energy and a bright smile! It is nearly impossible to accept that we have lost our sweet cousin, Crystal. She was so strong, funny, honest, compassionate and genuine, fierce in her love of her family and in her pursuit of the genealogy of all of us. I will forever be grateful for the memories I have of growing up with her, spending time in Seattle, Colfax, the lake, and for the way too few times we were able to spend together as adults. I am so grateful that we “chatted” almost every day over the past few months, laughing at past adventures and sharing news of our families, all the while she was fighting so hard to get well. How impressed I’ve always been of the vibrant woman, wife, mother, colleague and friend Crystal was. She was like a little sister to me, and I’ll never forget her.

I only knew Crystal through my visits to Merlin Woods School in my professional role but she made a real impression. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. She always welcomed me to the school with a warm smile and kind words. She was definitely one of the good ones and her family and friends will hopefully be comforted knowing she left such a good impression on everyone she encountered in her journey through life.
