All my heartfelt condolences to Felicity, Anne and John on the passing of Cyril. I have nothing but the best memories of him from growing up in Dublin. He was a lovely uncle, so gentle and kind always. He was great fun and loved to laugh - he could find humour in the smallest of things and it was always interesting to be around him. I know how much he loved and treasured you all. He was so lucky to have had such a caring and loving family - and he deserved all the happiness you brought him. He'll be very much missed. I'll remember him with love and affection always.

Having previously chaired the Association he achieved great work in the area. He will be missed by his neighbours and friends in Roebuck.

Sincere symathy to John and the O'Halloran family on the sad passing of Cyril. I got to know Cyril when i was coaching John with Kilmacud Crokes. He was a regular supporter of the team. In the latter years i would meet him in a local office and we would talk about the football and hurling. A true gentleman. May he rest in peace.
