I never met Cyril but I have heard so many fond stories of him. I’m sure he was incredibly proud to have the privilege of having you study in UL, while he was Dean of Engineering, and for you to follow him into the field of academia, Mark.

I’m sure Cyril’s spirit will help to guide you all, as you navigate this difficult journey. It is time now to celebrate a life well lived and to reflect on the many great contribution he made to all of your lives, the lives of your extended family, to the many students he lectured in UL and to the wider community of Limerick.
