Dear Declan and family, my sincere condolence on the death of your father, Cyril, R.I.P.
I knew Cyril from working in Kinsealy Research centre from 1979 and he always said "hello" to me if ever I met him. I found Cyril to be a very pleasant man.
(Declan, you will know me from Gormanston College all those years ago. I hope that you take care of yourself and your family especially at this time.)

A great sadness to hear of Cyril's passing. For me, an engineer in Building's Department, it was always a pleasure to visit Kinsealy, in particular to meet Cyril, the heart and soul of that splendid Station. The spirit of Leitrim, will still live on in his memory.

Our sincere condolences on the death of your Dad, Cyril. We have very fond memories of being a Winter League team of 3 with him in Baltray over a good number of years. And, of visits to Sligo/Donegal for the North East Golf Classic. Others have attested to his talented professional skills in his working life. We can attest to him being a super golfer in his day and excellent companion at all times.
But above all, he was a gentle man in every sense of the words. We also remember how much he enjoyed a good old sing-song party with Breda, RIP, in his house, in our houses and in the houses of our other dear friends in Baltray. Those were definitely the 'good old days.' We are thinking of you at this sad time.
