It was a pleasure to work with Cyril for many many years in Supplies, he was a pure gentleman, always smiling, friendly, full of kindness and always willing to help. I am shocked and saddened to hear of Cyril’s passing, I done my work experience in Beaumont hospital some years ago and Cyril looked after me from the first day. We continued being friends even after I had finished. We attended Ireland games and he would send me Christmas and Birthday cards. I had real respect for him, my life has been enriched by knowing him. I will be forever grateful for what done for me. Rest in Peace my friend Cyril 🙏

Sincere condolences to all the Knox family on Cyril's passing. The world has lost an absolute gentleman. I done my work experience in the supplies department in Beaumont hospital and Cyril went out of his way to be welcoming and look after me everyday. He had such a kind heart and even bought me a cake on my last day working there and in the few weeks i worked there u could tell how respected he was amongst his colleagues. Rest easy Cyril.

He was a decent, steadfast and hard-working man. No matter what challenges life threw at him, he always faced them with courage and resolve .
