Cyril's months Mass will be held in St Colman's Church Inishbofin on October 25 October 2025 at 1pm

So heartbroken to hear of the sudden passing of our dear friend Joe (Cyril) We send our love, big hugs and sympathy to his beloved wife Mary, and children Claire, Catherine and Christopher and their families, and especially to Callum, Isabelle and Luke, his beloved grandkids who he talked about all of the time with such love and pride, not forgetting Barney the dog!

Dear Joe (Cyril) We can’t believe we won’t see you again in The Ship (and The Woody) in your little town of Normanby in Middlesbrough, which has been our weekly Saturday thing for over 10 years! We will miss your big presence, a gorgeous, generous, happy, smiling, funny ‘gentle man’ who has given us so much joy and laughter over the years. Our legend!
Keep on smiling wherever you are Joe … get the drinks and quavers ready for our big meet up in the ever after.
