My sincerest condolences on the passing of Cyril. He was a gentleman indeed. Always a welcoming and friendly face. He was an excellent servant of St Mary's, St. Patrick's, Taney and the Irish Association of Change Ringers. I had the great privilege of working with Cyril when he was President of the IACR.

Our sincere condolences on the passing of Cyril. He was a a wonderful neighbour when we lived there, Biddy was always so fond of him. Always a smile for everyone. I hit many a tennis ball over the wall and he used to bring me in and let me get it and there was always a sweet or biscuit popped into my hand on the way out. A very kind man indeed. May he rest in peace.

Condolences to the Galbraith family, met him many years ago through a friend's family and his passion for his art was clear. A true gentleman.

It was with great sadness that we joined the Galbraith family this morning, via Utube, to say goodbye to our friend Cyril. We have many memories of Cyril down the years - being entertained by Cyril & Ann at their home in Dundrum; huddling together over a small electric heater on a cold winter's day in St Patrick's belfry & the absolute pleasure of having 80 year old Cyril as a passenger in our car over a number of days on a ringing tour of Cork. He'll be missed by bellringers everywhere. Deepest sympathy to David & all the family. Derek & Kathleen

His dedication to the Exercise and friendship with ringers the length and breadth of Ireland marked him in a very special way. This dedication was celebrated most appropriately at the Mansion House in April 2019 and in Christ Church, Taney in August of that year. May his memory live long and be as a blessing for all who held him dear.

So sorry to learn of Cyril’s passing after a long and active life. I had a lengthy and happy association with Cyril and Ann in Taney Parish, particularly the Indoor bowling club. Helen joins me in extending our deepest sympathy to all the Galbraith family.

It is with great sadness we heard of Cyril's passing. He will be greatly missed by all in Taney Bowling Club where he was a member for nearly 50 years. A real gentleman, kind and helpful.

Very sad news, Cyril was a lovely man and made the best apple tart ever! I loved our card sessions together in the past with the family and he always made myself and my son Adam most welcome, amazing character, very funny and the most gorgeous smile for everyone

Cyril was one of life’s true Gentlemen, it was a pleasure to play either with or against him on the Bowling Green, fond memories of him playing with Olde Rascals against the Young Rascals, which he always won (not that he was very competitive ) he will be fondly remembered and sad missed in Kenilworth Bowling Club.
