To Daire’s beloved family, I want to express my sincere condolences. I was very fond of Daire and still miss him. I always held onto hope that by some miracle Daire was living off the grid. If anyone could survive the wilderness it would be Daire. He was so kind to my whole family and seemed to enjoy his life as a hunting guide alongside my former husband David. Shocked! Used sit beside Daire in German class in secondary school and walk home at lunchtime with him. Always had a great laugh with him. Lovely guy to be around - always great fun. So sad. My deepest sympaties with his family.
