Mary, Pat and family, I am so sorry to learn of Dáire's death. I have a vivid memory of meeting you shortly after Dáire was born Mary and discussing with you that my nephew has the same name. You were so proud, telling me how his name was spelt.
By all accounts, he was very well loved by his students and I hope you can take some comfort from this.

My deepest sympathy to all of the Rÿan family and his friends on the sad loss of Daire.I knew him brieflywhen I was attending headway in ĺimerickĺwhere it dealth with issuesof brain trauma.I would say mid 2000.He was a gent to work both clients and staff had nothing but praise.He is courteòus friendly he wanted to learn he took his time to soak in what he could. Iam sure any client who interacted in anyway with him was more than happy for kmowing him even for a short time.I only knew him. For afleeting moment but he left an unforgetable mark on me. He is now resting in peace

I was so shocked when I heard the news, and honestly, I didn’t even want to believe it. Mr. Daire was truly one of the most amazing teachers I’ve ever had. He was so kind, so patient, and he always made us feel like we could do more than we thought. He believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself, and that’s something I’ll never forget.

He inspired me not only in learning but also in life. The way he taught, the way he cared, the way he always made time for his students—it showed what a beautiful heart he had. I feel lucky to have been one of his students, and I’ll carry his lessons with me forever.

Please know that his spirit lives on in the people he touched. I share this sadness with Mr. Daire’s loved ones,, and I’ll always keep him in my heart with gratitude.

I wish you comfort and peace during this difficult time. I hope to paint a picture for you to continue to celebrate Diare’s life.
I will always remember painting an old house white with Diare and Colm over a summer in
Oakland California. Although I did know him very well at the time, I will always remember Diare’s infectious happy go luck energy. As he joked around with Colm, my dad, and I at the job site. Even though the work was grueling and circumstances of why Daire needed the work was not ideal (scammed out of money from a fraudulent housing situation in San Francisco) he did not let the negative circumstances deter his positive outlook and mindset. He brought the positive vibes to wherever he went and smiles to the faces to friends both old and new.

I always asked after Daire from Neil, as he left such a positive impression from the time he stayed at our house back in his student days. He would come into the kitchen, chatting up a storm. He was a delightful, unique, and gifted young man. We still have the candle that he left as a gift after his visit. It will always remind us of lovely Daire.
