Damien, my uncle and my neighbour. It doesn’t feel real as I am not there to say goodbye to you. I will see you everyday I am home in the hearts of Cian, Riona and Fionnan. It may seem unusual but I have a favour to ask of you and I’m not sure if you have been hearing me, as Mam cared for you her whole life and especially in the last few years, I ask that you now look after her from above and the other 1,700 people that have come through granny and grandads doors to say their final farewell to you. Damian you were the most pleasant person I ever met. You gave every thing a 100% when dealing with you in the planning offices with Eircom in Carrickon shannon and Sligo .He would give you the shirt of his back.He is only one of a handfull of collegues that I liked in eircom. He will be sadly missed.May he rest in peace.
