Gone way too soon. He was a regular visitor to the family home and I will alway remember his kindness to my son Eoin. I can still hear my son Eoin laughing as he played with him. Thanks for the memories Dayo...rest in peace.

We have so much history you where the ninth member of the Harper family,
My Mother and Father loved you so much, my kids love you. We got on the Rollercoaster in the 80s I got off 20/25 years later you stayed on. Larger than life, Salt of the earth, Living it large. Giving it socks , you where the glue that keep you me and the lads together over the years. I was lucky to spend so much crazy happy funny times with you the mad lad. I will hold your seat at sunrise in Dalkey and a coffee in Poppies. I have a football in my throat writing this and a hole in my heart for ever , life will never be the same again.
Enjoy the fishing now that you are out to sea!

PJ and I are so very sad to hear of Damian’s passing. I have so many fond memories of fun times we shared together during our time in London. Damian was a warm and giving character with an enormous heart. Our thoughts are with everyone of his family as you manage through this heartache and loss. Rest peacefully now Damian.

Such sad news about Dayo a Dublin character of ever there was one. It was always great to see him when I'd be home for a visit. I'm sure he's in heaven entering all the saints and sinners ,you will be missed Dayo by family and friends. My condolences to all the Waters family,gone to young and to soon . Damian was a frequent visitor to Collins Ave and was a great family friend, never slow to do us a favour. He was always very nice to my late mother as well. We will always remember him as larger than life, great fun to be around, and with a real heart of gold. He will be sadly missed. May his big, gentle and generous soul rest in peace. RIP Dayo.
