Damien, I shall remember your deep kindness, questioning curiosity, positivity distilled in wryness, and ocean's openness to people and laughter. The time together as PACT teammates was such a special time and I am thankful. You got me started watching Grand designs after our talks on how the house you were building would be the perfect space for your family of perfect love. One of our first conversations was about your late uncle who led a parish in Jeju Island and how I grew up in a small Catholic Church in Los Angeles with my beloved priest, a Father from Donegal with a melodic Irish accent and also a Korean fluency as a marker of his lifetime dedication to service and the community. And as we sent you off today I was moved and heartbroken and grateful to witness it again with the familiarity of that love and community you held for everyone you knew, and with the familiarity of a service from a Father of Donegal.
