Over the years, there was laughter, teamwork, smiles, and plenty of good-natured slaggings — all part of the magic that Damo brought to our days.

He had a way of making even the busiest moments feel fun, turning challenges into shared victories with his humour and light-hearted spirit. Whether it was a quick chat or prep for the graft ahead , a few jokes, or a throwback 90s tune blasting in the background, Damo created an atmosphere where we felt valued, connected, and genuinely happy to be at work. His presence was the glue that held us together, and those memories will stay with us always.

Very saddened to hear Damien passed away. Known as Coco to all of us growing up in Clifton Park. He was liked by everyone, such a lovely guy. Remembering him fondly and thinking of his family at this time. RIP

Heartbroken to hear of Damien's passing. My deepest condolences to Antoinette, Mia & Leah, whom he loved and cherished so much, he was such a proud father & lit up every time he spoke of his girls. Having known & worked with Damo over 30 years, in Lifestyle, Smyths, Heatons / Sportsdirect, to say he was a true gentleman and fantastic character doesn't do his memory justice. He was loved & respected by all who had the pleasure of working with him, including my 3 boys when he managed them in Carrickmines & Wicklow. His passing will leave a void in the life of anyone who knew him... he will be sadly missed by us all.
