It’s remarkable to see how many, many lives Damien has brightened and profoundly impacted — just by being 100% Damien, 100% of the time. I am so grateful for every minute I spent with him and treasure every weird and wonderful quality that sets him apart from anyone I’ve ever known.

Thank you for being a bright light in our lives always Damien. We are thinking of you, and you’re here with us — in the beauty, banter, revelry, mischief and mystery that surrounds us all. <3

It's so hard to believe that he's gone.. I can only remember his smiling face, laughing eyes and magic wit. Damien could always make you laugh, no matter how you were feeling. I have such happy memories of fun times spent together over the years, especially in Howth and Chamonix. I feel so lucky to have known him and been his friend.

Thanks for all the wonderful memories Damien. You won't be forgotten.

I met Damien through a friend while in howth, we had a lovely time chatting. I bumped into him again while walking howth pier, he was on his skateboard, full of energy, and he joined me on my walk. He was a genuinely nice person, I am truly sorry for your families loss

Dear Collette, Pat, and family,
We were greatly saddened to hear of Damien's passing. Our deepest sympathies. Due to his friendship with Conal, and with our daughter Ciara and son Ross we met Damien many times through the years.
He was sitting at our kitchen table in Howth recently and told me that the furniture was crap and we needed to replace it. We appreciated the candid advice which we followed!:). We will all greatly miss him.

I was very sad to hear about the death of our neighbour Damien. I remember him as one of cooler kids growing up, for skating (before anyone knew that was cool) and wind-surfing, always avant gard when it came to sports. Deeply sorry for his family. Warm regards, Drewry Cooper, Strand Road.
