Damien was a classmate of mine and I was really saddened recently to hear of his passing. I remember Damien as a kind, bright fun loving person with a great sense of fun and humour. He had an infectious laugh that I can still hear now and it brings a smile to my face. I hope Damien is gone to a better place. The phrase "only the good die young" certainly applies to Damien.

I was so shocked to hear of Damien’s passing. A truly saddening event that has come way too soon. My sincere condolences to the Carroll family, my thoughts are with you all.

Damo was one of my oldest friends. My earliest memory of Damo is the two of us playing together as kids (mischievously no doubt!) in the Carroll household garden in Meadowmount before he moved to Braemor Park. We went to school together and we grew up together. We shared many ups and downs through the years, good times and bad; the kind of shared experience that 40 years of friendship will bring. I will always feel honoured to have shared those experiences with you Damo.
