Sincere Sympathy to Michelle , sons Oscar and Luke,and to his parents ,brothers and sisters.So sad to here of the tragic passing of Damien.I meet that young man a few years ago in L.A. where he was involved in the Gaelic Football team The Wild Geese.A lovely young man with always a happy and smiling face .He made everyone welcome and made sure they felt at home with the rest of the squad.Our son spoke of him very fondly,and of the way he was treated when he was there ,when he moved to L.A. first. It’s just so sad and unfair on you all.May Damien Rest In Peace.

We never got to meet Damien in person, but met over FaceTime, and have cherished memories Oscar and Luke all excited to cheer Damien on in his triathlon earlier this year. We were deeply saddened to hear of Damien’s passing.
We had some great memories and plenty of craic living with Damien in Sligo during college days. Michelle was the love of his life (and that was pretty much apparent to us within the first couple of times we were in the presence of the two of them).
DOB was undoubtedly a great father and husband. He was a gentleman. May he rest in peace.
With two beautiful kids and one on the way— One thing's for sure, his legacy is alive and growing every day.
