Very sad to hear of Damien's passing. My sincere condolences to Joan the girls and Damien's extended family and friend and his colleagues in AGS. I worked with Damien in the SPSection Garda College when he first arrived. He left a permanent impression on me. He was a gentleman, kind and quick witted. Traits not easily forgotten. God has taken an angel. Damien, your passing has made me so sad. Watching your funeral mass has shown me the amazing person you have turned into and how inspirational you have been to so many people. I wish we had lecturers like you in our day! I always loved seeing you out in town with Davey C. You were always immaculate, with your Levi jeans and your white shirt. I used to love dancing with you in Slashers/ Blazers to Prince! You were much better looking than Becks and not only were you gorgeous, you were a very kind, smiling and genuinely good person. This world’s loss is God’s gain. I hope you are drinking Patsy’s tea, sipping whiskey, practising your golf, blasting up your music and beaming your sunshine smile on all of your loved ones.
