We were very sorry to hear of your sad loss of both Dan and Breda.
Two gentle people that will be missed by all.
There’s fond memories by our daughter Jill of the trips to the car wash with Dan and the ensuing fun .

I read the news of Dan's passing with much sadness. So many wonderful memories of himself, Breda and the many kindnesses to our family. Such memories do not fade. May the sod rest easy on him, a true gentleman and a wonderful neighbour.

Back in 1978 we were on a pre marraige course in seville lodge dan god rest bless him was a tutor the jokes the laughs thevcraic we hadvwas just unbelievable he was fantastic the nicest kindest guy ever a smile light up croke park we were only going out ten mts one lady said we should wait we were too young not a bob between us i was madly in love we went for a cuppa with this icon explained what the lady said we should wait dan laughed look your self mary get married and we did 48 yrs together he was our kisdoonvarna thank u dan bless you kilkenny is a very sad place today the best teacjher is gone to heaven to teach the angles thanjk u dan
