I knew Dan through Facebook because of a common interest we shared, and he always struck me as being such a kind and friendly person who cared deeply about many things. Although I had the pleasure of discussing certain topics with Dan before, I wish I'd had the chance to know him better. I'll miss reading his posts and comments.

My condolences for Dan's family, friends and his dog Scarlett. Wishing everybody in his circle much strength. I have a fond memory of Danny, on one of the Robin of Sherwood conventions. He said he would have loved to have a RoS convention in Ireland one day.... that did not happen (yet) but instead Danny has met his great idol Ray Winstone and it showed that that meant so much for him....

So very sad to hear about Danny. He was always lovely to speak with. Genuine, always willing to listen and share honestly. I will miss him, and my thoughts are with his family and the people who loved him at this very sad time.

The passing of our Irish Outlaw has hit the Robin of Sherwood community hard with a suddenness that leaves many across the world shocked. You were much loved by many whether we met you in person or just online you were a friend and a part of our family. Whenever I look at Albion I will remember you and the smile you wear when it was in your hand. May Herne guide you back to your brother so you may walk the forest side by side forever.
