Deepest condolences to all Dan's extended family on his recent passing. We got to know Dan and Mary while living in the Paddocks in the 1980s. Dan and Mary were always a pleasure to meet , especially our extended political chats in Lawlors on a winter's night. Dan was always the total gentleman, may he rest in peace.

Sometimes in life if you are lucky you get to meet exceptional people. Dan and Mary Curtin were two of those people. It was great to chat to them and help them as they did their shopping in Tesco Blessington Road. They were always so grateful and appreciated all the help you would give them. Dan was heartbroken after his Soulmate Mary passed away. He will be happy now reunited with Mary in heaven. I will miss you both. And i hope Dan that they have a suppy of Cadbury choc éclairs for you.

Back in the 80s, I would meet Dan at the Jones Lang Wootton offices when he would graciously give me a lift home from college to Naas.
