Breda I am so sorry to hear about Dan. A lovely man and such a character. Great memories of late nights in the Herschel in Slough. The craic was mighty as they say. If there’s a Herschel in heaven it’s a packed house with so many of the old customers there including Joe so Dan is back with his old mates. Too many gone but never forgotten. Thinking of you, DJ and all the Daly family at this time. My condolences to all. RIP Dan

A man who gave me my first job, who taught me about respect and how to run a bar single handed. Thank you for those lovely memories. We havent seen each other for a while but ive loved hearing from you and friends about your life back home. I was sorry to hear that you have been so poorly, and that it was time to be back with your maker.
You were a legend! And DJ is so much like you.
