Dan Dineen

Dan Dineen was one of the great teachers at Carraig na bhFearr in mid 80's. Although those sums were hard, he had a very easy going style of teaching. And in his conversations with students you could hear a true character that enjoyed life. My sincere condolences to his family.

My sympathies to the Dineen family on the passing of Dan. I have fond memories of his maths classes in Coláiste an Chroí Naofa Carrignavar. May he rest in peace.

I was very sad to hear of Dan's passing. My sincere sympathy to all the Dineen family.
He taught me in Carraig Na bhFear in the early 70s and we shared a common love of horse racing.
I have never known any teacher to be so popular and respected by both students and staff alike.
I met Dan many times over the years at race meetings and at the dogs in Youghal and it was a privelege to have known him.
I hope Royal Ascot is on up there.

So sad to hear about Dan’s passing. Dan was a colleague and great friend of our Dad, Humphrey. He was always spoken about with warmth, admiration and humour in our house. We met him over the years at Carraig events, nostalgic to think about now, he was such a lovely man.
