My sincere condolences to the Harte family on your sad loss.I had the honour of knowing Dan and I learnt a lot from his experience and expertise in the gardening world.A total gentleman and a wonderful human being.May Dan rest in eternal peace.

I was sorry to recently hear of Dans passing. He was a great pal to my grandfather Greg. I loved hearing stories of the two of them growing up together.

Bhí an-chuid déanta ag Dan ar son na scoile agus Mairéad ag obair mar mhúinteoir agus ansin mar phríomhoide ann thar thréimhse fhada ama . Táimid an-bhuíoch as a chuid iarrachtaí agus infheistíocht sa scoil.

Solas na bhflaitheas agus leaba i measc na naingeal go raibh aige.

Bhí ról lárnach aige i saol na Gaelscoile ó bhunaíodh í agus é i gcónaí réidh chun lámh chúnta a thabhairt san Ionad Phobail i Mainistir na Corann.

An jab is mó a bhí aige gach aon bhliain ná an chulaith dhearg agus an fhéasóg mhór a chur air ag aimsir na Nollag agus aghaidh a thabhairt ar sheomraí na ranganna naíonán. Bhí idir sceitimíní agus áthas ar na leanaí é a fheiscint agus ba léir gur bhain sé siúd an-taitneamh as an ról chomh maith! Mar scoil, táimid fíor-bhuíoch as gach rud a rinne sé ar ár son.
