Our sincere sympathies to Dan’s extended family. Dan was a true gentleman. When we moved to Belvelly House as a young family in 1995 Dan and Joan were wonderful and kind neighbours supporting us in our endeavours to maintain and improve the house and garden. We had alot of help from them including the ‘loan’ of Brian (their grandson) a lovely young man who was incredibly capable under his grandfather’s careful guidance. Joan and Dan were also great examples to us … when Spring came you would see then both out painting their silver gates and fencing and out in their garden planting and tending vegetables. We also got our share of their delicious rhubarb. A life well lived. RIP
