I am so sorry to learn of the loss of my dear friend Dan. I will miss him hugely, particularly our chats in the car park after Sunday Mass. Never a chat was passed without him speaking fondly of his very much loved Gemma and Daniel. My whole family were very fond of Dan and my thoughts and prayers are with all the family. I am so grateful to Dan for his wonderful friendship since I was a boy.

He was a wonderful friend to both Tom n myself.
Since Betty passed away poor Dan would call out to us to chat about days gone by when Betty would come over to our house too.
A Man of Character,deeply Religious but treasured his true Friends.
We shall miss him terribly.
Betty was also A Lady worked with her in Scoil Mhuire,had so many laughs ,she was such a Character.
Cherished her Friendship too.
At least now both of them are Reunited again in their Heavenly home.
Poor Dan missed Betty so much.

My connection with Dan goes back to my very early years when Dan as a 10 year old, came up to visit his Aunt Emily ,my grandmother and I was a baby.
Dan always reminded me of this as I grew older and whenever he came to the Midlands,he would visit our home. Sometimes,if I wasn't at home I'd know by the pot of jam left on the doorstep that Dan was in the area!
I was privileged to know this man because his gentle approch to life was always soothing and caring. His soft Tipperary accent was music to my ears and we enjoyed some great chats about golf and Tipperary hurling.
May you rest in eternal peace with your beloved Betty ...you are together again!
