Sincere condolences to Dans family and extended Murphy family on his sad passing may his gentle soul rest in peace. We stated with Dan back in 1973/74 we were in the flat upstairs many good memories of Abbeyleix he was such a lovely gentleman many trips to Croke park in Paddy Lawlers state car

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dan. I got to know him during my close on five years in the Bank of Ireland in Abbeyleix many moons ago. Dan was a gentleman and an integral part of the wonderful community of Abbeyleix that still holds such a special place in my heart. Those were the best of times and the memories of that magical era linger on like an old fashioned song. My sincere condolences to all of Dan's family at this sad time.

Sincere Condolences to Daniel /Gemma on the death of your Dad ( .Dan) Dan and our family go back a long time ( Lambs jams ) (Lawlers) (Denny's ) (Murphy's Deli) all of which incl building his house Betty was the (rock ) what a couple we have been a friend for over 55 years and we kept in touch with visit to each other house s when the times were (tuff) Dan and Betty were always there (a true friend ) We could pick up where we left off Both Catherine myself and my siblings are truly saddened by his death and we wish Daniel /Gemma all the luck the world can give and they were blessed to have had Dan/Betty as parents
