Dan Spillane

Our sincerest condolences to Rosaleen, Anthony, Derek, Jenny and Órla on the passing of your beloved Dan. We remember Dan as a kind and very friendly person when we lived as near neighbours in Seaview Park. He had many a great story of his beloved Cork and his time as a soccer goalkeeper. Rest in peace Dan.

Sorry to hear, just today, about the death of a lovely man. Apologies for having missed Dan's funeral. Although we haven't met him in a while he was always a pleasure to meet -a real gentleman with a larger than life presence—always full of warmth and humour.
We still remember to this day, his generosity, when he bought two abandoned aspiring golfers, left to practice on a putting green, two bottles of Fanta, which on a hot summer's day and children of a dentist went down a treat and never forgotten. Hopefully all the good memories will get you through this sad time
