My beautiful Dad, all through life we have always known that no matter what, you were right there. Whether that was jumping into a swimming pool while you taught us to swim, going through broken hearts, failed college years, tough financial times... Whatever it was, you were always there on the sidelines, giving us space to figure it out on our own but still within reach to grab us if we needed it. And sure don't we all know how to swim now?!

You were a steady, unwavering force and support in our lives and I know you will continue to mind, guide and love us from where you are now. And we will continue to seek your guidance and send you love from where we are, until we meet again.

I adore you. The past 7 years in particular have been our time. The bond we grew, the laughs we had, the things you taught me. I am so proud of you and I felt your pride in me and I'll carry that forever.

I miss you so much and I always will. I love you so much and I always will. And I'll use that love to give my children my all, just like you gave us. You were wonderful Dad. What a life and legacy you leave behind.

Thanks Danny for all your humour, courage, generous willingness to respond to calls from your family, and for the lovely flowerboxes you made in our estate that will be filled as soon as the rain clears off.
Thanks for all that you did, and were, to so many, especially the homeless in Dublin in your final years.

There are no words to fully express the void Danny has left in so many lives.Fondest memories of travelling the highways of Ireland in a long forgotten past either hitch hicking or on our trusty Honda 50's.Later in our cars to Courtown or Killarney listening to Johnny Cash ,Tony Christie singing Yellow River but his favourite Two Little Boys was replaced in later life by I was Born under a wandering star ---could have been written for Danny as like Lee Marvin he must have been out helping somebody when the good Lord was handing out singing voices .But he always gave it loads.He was always on hand to help anyone in need and so many people were greatful for his expertise.Danny always seemed to believe that some rules wete made for others ---many a time he loaded up his car with a full football team and their subs to get them to a match .Something broken could be fixed temporarily with a wrench but I dont think the meaning of temporarily was fully understood by Danny and the wrench became permanent. So many many fabulous memories of Danny and I hope he is now at peace and not rearranging the gates or wine flow taps in heaven. RiP brother

Uncle Danny was a great man, always there, boistrous, funny, loud, helping and caring. A pillar of a man in more ways than one. I have the fondest memories of my wonderful loving uncle. R.I.P. Danny.

To a brother who was always there when you needed him, he would be sadly missed, he was a strong link in the chain of the family and leaves us all a bit broken. Rest in Peace Danny.
