I was deeply saddened to hear of Dan passing. A true gentleman in every sense, Dan was someone who left a lasting impression on all who knew him. I have fond memories of working alongside him in Cash’s , where he not only shared his expertise but also his kindness and humour . My dad, Dick, my brother Tony, and I, Richie, always appreciated his camaraderie and the way he brought warmth to the workplace.
Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. May Dan rest in peace.

Dan was my Uncle. He was such a gentle kind soul. My mother Nuala loved him dearly, so much so to make Dan my Godfather.
He was so interested in others and always made the conversation about them not himself.
I hope that some of his amazing qualities have rubbed on me and hope that if they did, I am a better person for it. He will be always a beacon of what we should try to become.
Rest in peace Uncle and Godfather. I am very sad not to be there for your final journey, but will look in today, as if I were there.
