Bernie and Damien - I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s hard to put into words what Uncle Danny meant to all of us. Danny had a heart as big as Arva Lake, and a wit sharper than any of the tools he used. He had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, seen, and included – whether you were family, friend, neighbour, or just someone who happened to call into the house.
The memories he’s left behind will be talked about for generations. He was loved by so many, because he gave so much of himself to everyone lucky enough to know him.
Sending all my love and deepest sympathies. We’ll miss him dearly, but we’ll celebrate him always.
