We met Dan through the Koike family when he volunteered at the Ottawa Street market in Hamilton
Today we attended a wonderful tribute service to Dan in a town north of Hamilton
As many have said he truly will be missed by us Canada friends

He was a gentleman to the core…..I had the pleasure of meeting Dan at our 1981 UCC Civil Engineering Class reunion in April 23 where he made the journey from Hamilton, Ontario to Cork to celebrate with friends and recall the trials and tribulations of college life in the late 70’s…I met Dan in cork airport on his return journey and he was so delighted that he came home and said that he was looking forward to the next reunion ….….Dan - you will not be forgotten and we will raise a glass to your memory and achievements.
