I met Don through his work for the Syringomyelia self help charity group. He was so helpful and kind. The group wouldnt have survived for so long without his help. A wonderful positive person. He will be fondly remembered.

He was our only and favourite uncle. The last to leave us and the end of an era.
We have fond memories of him when we were growing up. Loved to see him, especially at Christmas when he would visit and always give us lovely presents. We thought this was great and cherished them. As kids we thought he was really rich!
Him and Olive were so generous to us all over the years.
In our adult years we loved catching up with him, enjoying some lovely family occasions and fun times. All his nieces (and there was quite a few of us) would claim each one, was his favourite!
We will miss you Donal and may you rest in peace ❤️

What can I say? A huge loss for you Olive and all the family. Don was a wonderful friend, supplier, colleague to me over the 30 odd years I knew him. We had so many trips playing golf and drinking the odd glass of wine and I'll miss him terribly, especially his giving out about par 3's being too long! I hope the courses he's playing now all have short grass and no water hazards and may his drives be long and straight.
