Daniel you where an amazing brother in-law and wonderful family man, always funny and full of laughter you brought the good out in people, you and Denise will be sadly missed and always in my prayers. RIP

Instead of a chat during my visit back to Dundalk, this time it was farewell to Danny. A good man with a great heart and gentle soul.

Sorry and shocked to hear about Danny's passing. When i started running with North East Runners Danny was one of the main men i tried to tail and try to find a way past in the final few meters in numerous races. Most of the time Danny had that little bit extra in reserve. And since he eased off on the running i still regularly met Danny for a catchup chat up at Tesco and on the bike on the way home. Sadly missed.

I was shocked when I recognised a very valued Tesco employee. Many years shopping in Tesco , I’ve often observed Daniel’s helpfulness, calmness , and strong work ethic. He always was ready to help everyone. Rest in Peace Danny, and sincere condolences to your family.

I am so very sorry to hear of the sad passing of Mr Fenton, my condolences are with his family, I never had the pleasure of knowing him personally but always a lovely kind chatty man who adored talking about his grandchildren. He would always say good morning to us as we walked to school. I knew his daughter in law Eimear and I never knew that the little grandsons he would talk about were her little boys, but just know he was very proud as he talked about them and would often laugh telling how crazy they were. My heart goes out to all his family may he rest in eternal peace 🪽

I am so sorry to learn of Danny’s passing. Deepest sympathy to his wife and family. Danny always had a smile and a friendly word. He will be so missed . Rest in peace Danny.

We first got to know Danny at Dundalk parkrun. You would see him arriving on his bike most Saturdays, then headphones on and running happily. On Sundays, he was a regular volunteer at Junior parkrun.

He was just a lovely guy. Our sympathies to his family and friends.

Danny always had time for a chat in the mall of Tesco's and the old shopping centre, he never changed over the years, he would always ask how everyone was doing, he was a true gentleman.

So shocked to hear of the sad passing of Danny. What a wonderful man he was. Remember him as a young teenager hanging around the old shopping centre. He always give us a heads up that the security lads were doing the rounds to move all us teens from the seats outside Peter Marks. He would never pass us by without a chat and he was great for knowing all our names. Tesco's will never be the same without him 💔
