Daniel Gough

I remember when I was a novice with the Presentation Brothers back in 1976. My good friend, Eddie Horgan, and I used to ride our bikes to the home of Eddie's uncle and aunt, Dan and Chris. We spent many a happy afternoon chatting about "deep" philosophical subjects. I never forgot their hospitality to me and those wonderful conversations. They treated me as though I was THEIR nephew, and they became my family in Ireland. It was only for a year, but it was an unforgettable year and they were a big part of it. After a few years, I left the brothers and returned to Phoenix... but I never forgot their kindness and those deep conversations. I don't know what made me think of them today or what drove me to look them up, but I feel that it was somehow meant for me to share my little story.
