My sympathies to Dan's family. I first met him during the prolonged regeneration work at the Old Gasworks site at the end of O'Curry Street. Dan was one of the few people on the street who responded to a circular sent out to local residents to gather community support to get the work done with less fumes and chemicals in the air. Together we met Mr O'Donnell TD on the matter. Thereafter we met periodically as he went to his job downtown working for the Romanian community.

Dan's death was a sad shock. No doubt he will be a loss to his many friends and clientele at Irish-Romanian Business & Cultural Association.

May God comfort all the loved ones of Dan through this difficult time. Be assured of his continued love and care for you.
