So sorry to hear about Danny's passing. It was a pleasure working with him. My condolences to his family in this difficult time.

Danny was a great friend of mine while we were at Trinity, and I have many fond memories of him from that time. He was a true gentleman, and it was a privilege to have known him. Words can't convey how sorry I am that he has gone so soon.

Danny was a great friend & colleague during my years in IPSI. A real intellectual with great humour & character. I am devastated to hear of his passing. Deep condolences to his family & friends. May he rest in peace.

I knew Danny when we were both knocking around TCD. He was funny, irreverent and fiercely loyal. One could not have wished for a better friend in those formative years.

I met Danny in Trinity College. His positive energy, wit and intellect stood out from the crowd. He was an incredibly loyal friend with a heart of gold. When I heard the news, I felt like a part of that time died with him.

He always spoke highly of his family, and my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to the O’ Keeffe family on the very sad loss of Danny. I was so sad to hear the news. I first met Danny in secondary school and have fond memories of being at your house with the group of friends from school.I attended Danny’s debs with him all those years ago and we both lived in Dublin for university where he was a regular at our various apartments all whilst going through his ‘skinny jeans’ phase!I have very fond memories of those years and will always remember Danny as the fiercely intelligent,witty,social and kind person that he was. I will always remember his impeccable taste in indie/alt music and his penchant for discovering new bands that would eventually make it big but he was always ahead of the crowd for “finding them first”. I still listen to certain bands and remember Danny playing them on loop in our apartment on one of our iPods/laptops. His love and knowledge of rugby rivalled anybody else and I always enjoyed the banter ahead of being in his presence watching a game.I remember him speaking so fondly of his brother and sister and parents as the proud big brother and son that he was. Danny made a lasting impression on so many people and I will remember him fondly forevermore when I hear certain songs or see a man wearing red skinny jeans! Rest In Peace Danny and thank you for the memories.

I am truly saddened by Daniel's passing and regret not being able to attend the funeral service. He was a strong and brilliant person who was destined to do great things. Some of my fondest secondary school memories include Daniel and his wit and resilience.

I knew Danny for a short spell when he was training for the 2017 Dublin marathon. He showed real mental toughness and determination to complete a 4 hour marathon. He was a gentleman and will be missed. My sincere sympathies to his family and friends

My deepest sympathies to the whole O'Keeffe family. Danny always talked so fondly, and with so much pride and admiration, about you all. I had the pleasure of becoming friends with Danny right at the start of college, and remaining so through some great stories as well as tough times. He was the kind of friend you might not see for weeks, months, or even years, but then when you did it would feel like you'd seen him only yesterday and you'd pick right back up where you had left off. He was a larger than life character - few went away without a great story from their time spent with Danny - but he was also just a really good, caring friend. Gone far too soon, he packed a lifetime's worth of living into the time he had. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann, we'll not see his like again. He'll be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Very shocked and saddened to hear about Dannys passing. I worked with Danny when he was a trainee actuary. He was a passionate guy that cared deeply about his work and about the well being of the rest of the team. I know he was very excited about his recent IT venture also.
