I only knew Daniel for a very short period of time and, during that time, I got to know a real gentleman. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

To Gary, Connor , Brendan & Luke …Our thoughts are with you all at this very sad time I will miss Daniel’s positive & always willing assistance in the Race Management Safety boat in Skerries . His cheerful chatty personality & witty comments always raised a smile . Ann often met Daniel walking down by the harbour but more often they met & chatted over the meat fridge in Gerry’s ! “Any suggestions for dinner tonight Ann ? it’s my turn to cook !! He was a trouper & a Gentleman just like you Gary & an example to us all , may Daniel rest in peace now with Francis .
