Sending love and condolences to all family and close friends of Daniel. Someone who truly made you feel welcome and always had a smile on his face that suggested some sort of mischief was afoot.
Daniel welcomed me into his home nearly 30 years ago, and set out to make it a memorable summer of showing us round all the best spots of the area, introducing me to proper Irish butter and a real sport (hurling), while always showing his generosity and easy going nature that made Daniel so easy to like, whether we understood eachother or not! What was easy to understand was how much he meant to his family and how much they meant to him, and I'm sure there's plenty of happy times to remember from a life well lived. Keep telling those stories!
RIP and love to all that held Daniel close to their heart. x

I am saddened to hear of Dan's passing. Sincere condolences to Nora and immediate family on the loss of a beloved husband and father. Dan was an extremely nice man, always in good humour and he will be missed by his many friends but , of course, the greatest loss will be to his wife and family. I regret that I have been unable to attend funeral (due to illness) but will remember all the family in my prayers. God Bless You Dan, may you Rest In Eternal Peace.
