It's with deep and great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Dan Vincent. A gentleman to his fingertips. A worthy competitor who represented his club in SCÓR with distinction. On a personal level, I had the pleasure of competing against him on a number of occasions, in SCÓR, Local quizzes, and indeed on Builleadh Fé Thuairim on the radio. While if memory serves me correctly, we came close on a few occasions, we never actually succeeded in "besting" him. His presence at SCÓR will be greatly missed, but I'm sure both he and his longtime colleague Tony Moynihan, will find a quiz out there in the great beyond. They may even bring Paddy Mullooly along to continue the dominance they enjoyed among us down here. Whether or which, go dtuga Dia sonas síorrai duit a Dhónal agus ar dheis Dé go raibh tú.
