I am so sorry to hear this news. I had the wonderful pleasure of Danny’s company on many’s an evening in Lansdowne some years ago. Always smiling with a lovely wit and a way to capture the mood with the twinkle of an eye. What a lovely man - he will be missed. Mandy and I were shocked to hear the sad news this morning (Perth time).
Danny was a great musician, great singer, great author and always great company. Our family will always remember Danny as a brilliant, larger than life person who was able to always make us laugh.
Although we only managed to catch up every few years when back in the UK/Ireland we will miss him dearly.
