We were so saddened to hear about the loss of Dano, father, grandfather and friend to so many, you will be sorely missed. You will always be remembered as an incredible, charismatic and true gentleman. The memories of you will always be a guiding light to everyone who admired and loved you dearly, may you RIP forevermore.

Sincere condolences to Dano's family. A true gentleman, he was a great friend of my late father, Danny. They would meet daily at St Michael's Church for the 'half-ten', always enjoying each others company and interesting conversations. May Dano's gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

As well as our chats in the pharmacy I had many lovely talks with Danny on the road as I walked home after work. He would be cycling back into town. He was always full of memories of times past and remembered my parents so well. He shared a respect for piseogs that my mother had and they both had strong traditions of May Eve. May he rest in peace.

Conveying condolences is always challenging, especially for the Buckley family dealing with their loss.
I didn't interact much with Uncle Dano as an adult but have fond memories of an adventure with him in my childhood, rivalling any Tom Sawyer's tales.

That unforgettable adventure with Dano and my cousins from Tipperary town remains etched in my heart and soul, which I plan to include it in my memoirs soon.

Rest in peace Dano, you will never be forgotten.

I will light a lovely candle this evening for Uncle Dan and my Amazing Aunty Biddy, my mothers sister. Sure they will all be reunited in a better place. The last I remember of Dano is him giving me a massive sack of Irish spuds to take home back to England when we finished our visit and were leaving.
