We are so sorry to hear that Daff has passed away. I (Helen) had known her for 70 years, as I did Joy when we all lived in Room 5 in the YW in Mountpleasant Square! We formed lifelong friendships from then on. I knew Lorna for a lot longer, having been to school together. Sadly that leaves me as sole survivor of that happy bunch but I feel so grateful to have known all of them. We had many adventures in that room! Joy, ever inventive, rigged up a bulb on a flex so we could have some power after lights out at 11.30! We both send our sincere condolences to all of you and hope to join you on Thursday to say a final farewell to our dear friend Daff.
