Dear Marian and all the family. Sincere condolences on the passing of your wonderful mum Daphne. She was such an amazing person so welcoming and warm, generous funny and kind. Your mum had no hesitation including us friends in family meals and I remember well many sunny days at Chadsley house, playing, swimming, laughing and enjoying her fabulous hospitality. She will be very sadly missed, may she rest in peace.

Dear Marian and all the family. I was so sad to hear of the passing of your wonderful mum Daphne and really sorry to miss her funeral. She was an amazing lady.
I have such strong memories of how warm and welcoming she was, so fun loving and generous. I remember well those many fabulous days, playing loads of sports and being included in family meals with you all, and enjoying the renowned wonderful hospitality at Chadsley house. May she rest in peace now -reunited with your also beloved dad Jack. Bless you all xx

Dorothy I remember your mother as young vivacious athletic and lots of fun. She welcomed lots of us teenagers to your house every day in Summer. She was always laughing and joking and even then she seemed young to us.

I was always very fond of Daphne even when she turned a hose on me! I can still look back and laugh at happy times of growing up within the Smith family and being included at meal times. Having no brothers or sisters but a welcome from Mrs Smith was lovely.
