I’m deeply saddened by Dara’s passing and send my heartfelt sympathies to her family.
I knew Dara through the Bray Gospel Choir, where we sang together as sopranos. She was a wonderfully kind soul, full of warmth and wisdom. I’ll always treasure our laughs, her advice, and the gentle support she offered me as a working mum with very young children. Dara was so proud of her family, and her presence and generosity touched everyone who knew her.
Rest in peace, Dara—such beautiful memories will always remain.

Was taught Science by Ms.Kelly during my time in Michaels 15 years ago now. A brilliant teacher who cared deeply about her students and left a lasting impression on everyone who came in contact with her. It’s teachers like Dara that really made an impact on mine and many others lives. Condolences to family. May she rest in peace.

So very sorry to hear of the very sad passing of Dara. Having worked at St Michael’s College for 35 years as a gardener I knew her well and enjoyed many a chat on Science, the weather and gardening.
She was very highly respected not only as a teacher but as a very warm and approachable person. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

I never had the pleasure of being taught by Ms Kelly, however when I did interact with her she was always so kind and welcoming. I’ll always remember her fondly, especially for helping me find a classroom on my first day of school when I was lost. My sincere condolences on your loss.

I was a student of Dara’s back when she started in St.Michaels & last year when I was working on a project in the school I was lucky to meet Dara & chat about those days when she taught a group of unruly transition year students about computers. I am heartbroken that such a beautiful person like Dara has left us. She was my constant partner soprano in crime in the Bray Gospel Choir back in the day & always with a cheeky grin and a kind ear. She was a very special lady and a dear friend and I will greatly miss our chats & the random lunch dates in Dunlaoghaire. Huge condolences to Ger and Aoife & Fiachra at this time x.
