It is with great sadness I hear of an old friend’s passing. Darren always sparked joy, and every time I met him we’d have the zaniest, verging on comedic conversations about life, galway, philosophy; our hopes for the future. I missed those spontaneous meetings with Darren after I left Galway and sadly haven't met Darren in quite some time. To not meet again in this lifetime is truly devastating. I extend my heartfelt sympathies with his family and our mutual circle of close knit friends.

He will always be and reside in my heart as one of the best friends I have ever had in my life. We had so many great philosophical talks about life I will miss your chats Darren. I will miss your laugh, your perspective and your juxtaposition on life. But most of all I'll miss your good nature. I worked with darren for a long time in donnybrook fair he was a kind genuine funny guy life and soul of any party always there when u needed him. We have not spoken in awhile but he will be truley missed
