Our most heartfelt sympathy to Darren's family at this very sad time, we were friends of Darrens when we lived in Galway and he visited us in Donegal but unfortunately we lost touch. He was a great friend and a truly good person and will be missed. We will always remember him in our prayers.

To the Nolan family & friends,

I am thinking of ye all at this sad time, my heart & prayers go out to ye all. I was a friend of Darrens when he lived in Galway & we are affected greatly by the news of his passing. He was a complete gentleman & true friend, & although our paths did not cross in recent years, he was never & will never be forgotten.

Yours sincerely Lisa

To the Nolan Family

My sincere and deepest thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Darren meant many things to different people, for me Darren was a true salt of the earth guy. Darren never had to think twice about helping others he just did it naturally. Darren guided and helped me on more than one occasion in my life and for this I am eternally grateful. Life changes all of us and life's events can make us get lost on our journey but for me Darren will always be the person I met for the first time all those years back. Darren will always be that kind hearted man who had time for everyone. I feel blessed to have known him.
Rest Easy Darren, your safe in the arms of angels.

Dear, Bernie and family,

It is with a sad and regretful heart that I write these lines to you all. My desire is to send you my personal expression of deep sorrow on the death of Darren your son and brother.
You will be living possibly the most difficult moments of your lives just now and words may hold little value. However, I send my support as you are held in this place of deep grief.
The very large star of brightness that Darren was to each of you will I believe be the main support and strength for your time ahead.
In Celtic spirituality we know that the dead are never far from us. Their presence circles our every step.
Nothing is ever lost everything is stored in the temple of Memory.
My prayer is that this temple of memory will be the backup against which you will live this time.
My hope too is that it will give you strength and a sense of how deeply you are enfolded in the heart of Darren.
In loving memory and with a prayerful heart.
Sheila Murphy. Deirdre Bradshaw’s sister and Gerard’s sister in lay, but mostly in this hard time for you all a remembering friend.
