Only just heard this evening. So sad to hear about Dave. A lovely family all the Johnsons and Dave was an absolute gent. I had my 21st in his pub The Watercourse Inn many many years ago.

We were saddened to hear that Dave had passed away. Dave was always so friendly and had a really positive impact on those that knew him. Condolences to all the Johnson's. Dave will be really missed.

I was sad to hear of Dave’s passing. Good memories of him with his camper van in Ballyheigue when I was younger. He loved Ballyheigue and was a great friend of my uncles Brendan and John Galvin. My Sympathy to David's siblings on his passing. I was lucky enough to be brought up in Victoria Cross and to have neighbours like the Johnsons and Dave was among the best. I was lucky enough to attend a 'Victoria Cross' reunion held in the Johnson back garden a number of years ago, organised mainly by Colum and Miriam and that was a fantastic occasion and Dave played his part.

I have many good memories of Dave, going back to the days of Competition Motor Cycles and later re BCG Solrs. I am shocked and saddened to hear of his death! My sympathies to all his family and friends.
