David A Glennon

I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear just this morning of David's passing. I have wonderful memories of him during our business days and especially of his kindness to me many years ago. He was a true gentleman and my sincerest heartfelt condolences to you all on your sad loss.

My apologies for delayed response, as I've only just found out about David's passing.
The tyranny of time and distance,I suppose.
David was a godsend to the dreary life of boarding in Terenure College.
He was always a standout . Upbeat and uplifting. There could only be one House Captain in 1968. Always hoped to catch up with you one day, David. We ran out of time. Life's far too short.
You were and always will be a personality without peer.

Oh Muriel I am so so sorry. I only found out last night, I am absolutely gutted. Loved every minute in his company since he invited me to his tenth birthday party a long time ago.He spent so much time in my home when we were growing up. My mother was always happy to see David calling. Delighted that Kym is part of your extended family she is a pet I know all her family. A small world. I shall pay a visit to Clarendon Street Church this morning and say my own quiet prayer for one of the really good people.

Truly sorry to hear about David. I was given my start in Insurance by Glennon's in the 70's for which I am still grateful. He always had a smile for everyone and I would like to give my sincere condolences to all the family.

I joined Glennons in Oct 2019 and met David on a few occasions as we then went in lockdown. He was very welcoming and friendly. I was delighted to chat to him last December and wish him well in his retirement. Condolences to all his family, friends and colleagues.RIP David.

I worked for Glennon’s for 19 years, until about 20 years ago and always found David to be friendly and helpful, he was a true gentlemen. We met within the past year and had a good chinwag about times past so news of his passing came as a real shock. I would like to pass on my condolences to Muriel, Colin and all the family.
