David, after a long fight may you now rest in peace. Jane, our deepest sympathy to you but remember and be thankful for the good times you had together. Robert and Mair
Dear David, what a long fight this has been, and you have done so well and admirable.
Your last visit to the Netherlands was a memorable one, with a nighttime adventure to the hospital and a wonderful afternoon on the beach near Lemmer.
I would like to thank Jim and Nancy very much for their friendship and help over the years. Andy, thank you for setting up this condolences page.
Jane, strength with this loss, we will often open the book and share beautiful Baird, Burdon and de Bruijn stories with each other. Lots of strength and love everyone, cousin Simon.

Deepest sympathy to his sister June, relations and close friends. His battle with illness was a reminder of the incredible power he had within.
His memory will always remind us of the power of hope and determination.
I hope that the memories of the happy times we all had together with Dave can be of some comfort.
