So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. A true gentleman and a wonderful story teller. It was always great catching up with him at the taxi ranks, I was always happier after meeting Dave. Rest in Peace Dave.

Rest in peace Dave a gentleman sadly missed

Dave and I were great friends growing up around Edenmore although we lost touch many years ago. We had great times on holidays in the early 70's and I still laugh at some of the antics we got up to. Walking his big German Sheppard was always a great day out. He was a gentle smart funny and compassionate man whose passing leaves a gap in the world. Fond memories will remain.

So sad to hear our cousin David has passed. I have so many happy memories of him that go back to our childhood when we congregated in our grandmother's house in Inchicore every Stephen's Day, to his days in the Educational Company as a dapper young man. I enjoyed his hilarious jokes and his infectious sense of humour. I met him during his illness in April, and he was stoic as ever, not to mention his regular text messages. David will be greatly missed. Leaba i measc na naomh go raibh aige.

Audrey, I'm so sorry to hear Dave has passed after his brave battle over the months. Condolences to you Audrey, Karl, Jenny and grandchildren, his brothers Frankie,Dermot and families.
I'll remember Dave as a kind and generous man who would go out of his way to do a good turn for anyone. He had a great sense of humour and over the years I enjoyed hearing his funny stories. Dave's gone much too soon and he will be sadly missed.
