I didn't know David and I don't know his family but I just want to say that I hope he rests in peace and those who are left behind remember the good times and try not to work out why...... just accept that this is the way it was meant to be for him. Sometimes we do not understand. His family and friends will miss him but hopefully, the time they spent with him while he was of this world will give them the strength to accept what is. Never forget him, hold his memory close and always look to the sun for light. He has not gone from any of you .......his memory will stay with you for as long as you remember him - with love.
Be kind to those who are left......always.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Dave was always such a true gent and very genuine person. I had so many good times with himself when we were growing up here in Portmarnock. He will be missed.

In memory of David.

Two twenty one pm today, I've heard a good friend passed away.
The sudden shock to hear of this, My heart now falls to the abyss.

I sit here cry to find some grace, Of a life now gone and empty space.
Of all the sorrow this will become,  Who knew and loved him everyone.

The young boy that I taught his trade, Rose up to be a man well made.
Instilled in him all that I knew, Was proud to see all he could do.

To hear from him his many views, The future held for him to choose.
To see him reach his own goals set, Some times to hear no not there yet.

Such passion, drive, in this my friend, To soon farewell to soon the end.
For me, my thoughts will always be, David, young man, Spirit, Free.
